Coziest Spot!

Today I’m participating in another link up with the AMAZING Shay and Erika!

This months Let’s Look Link up is taking a look into the coziest spots in our home.

We are still settling into our new house. I’ve heard it has taken people over a year to really feel at home after a move.

I lived in my old neighborhood since I was a year old.

I met my husband there when he moved in down the street from us and moved in with him when I was Eighteen.

So for thiry-one years I lived on that same block.

In the same style house.

With all of the same neighbors.

Needless to say, it’s been a little tough to feel “cozy” in our new home just yet.

Not to mention we moved in just two days before the new school year started and then the holiday madness hit like a whirwind, so we haven’t had too much time to really settle in and make it feel like its “ours”

So for me, right now, if I had to pick the absolute coziest spot in our home.

It would be the Dining Room.

The dining room is where we can all sit down together and unwind after a long day.

Where we can talk about all the things, good and bad.

Its one of those places where I feel like you can really just get deep into conversation and be your truest self with the people you hold closest.

And when I’m with all of my people, I feel cozy.

Comfortable.

Happy.

Snug.

Warm.

Pleasant.

You catch my drift…:)

Not to mention its one of the only rooms in the house that we’ve actually put any time into.
