What’s Up Wednesday (March)

Its another What’s up Wednesday!! (on a Thursday) I’m a day late but I love doing this post so much so I wanted to make sure to get it finished up!

On the last Wednesday of every month Shay and Sheaffer host this fun little link up where we share all of the things! πŸ™‚

Not sure why, but I just love reading about what the rest of the world is up to. No matter how extraordinary, boring, or random it my be.

1.What we’re Eating

I haven’t posted a Meal Plan Monday in a while. Mainly because Softball Season is upon us so we are on the go!

Dinner time and meals are slightly different in this season of our lives!

I posted here about out favorite Go to homemade Poke Bowls.

There are several days a week where the girls go to school for 8 hours. Dismiss and go straight the field for their school practice until 5pm and then head over to Field #2 for their Rec Ball practice until 8pm.

It can be super tough to get a meal in.

But we try our best.

The other day I made Enchiladas to deliver to field 2 before they got started with their second.

Otherwise its just sandwiches and Bento Boxes to the rescue!

We try super hard not to run through a drive-thru. As easy and convenient as that may be…

As far as the little ones!

You can check out what they’ve been eating and loving here.

2. What I’m reminiscing about

My babies!!

My oldest is going to Freshman Registration next week!

:: Insert sobbing Emoji here::

I CAN. NOT. wrap my head around how that happened!

Sophia is in her last year before the teens, and my little man is FOUR already!!

I just can’t take it.

My sweet Cecilia!
Baby Soph
And the happiest baby on this planet πŸ˜‰

3. What I’m LOVING

I broke down a bought a pair of DIFF eye wear Sunglasses.

They had their diff day BOGO sale so I took advantage of it!

I figure what better time to try them out then when I could get two for the price of one!

So I ordered a pair of Sunglasses and a pair of Blue Light tech glasses.

I LOVE them.

My family all laughs at my “Nerdy” tech glasses. But they truly do help! And I think they’re so cute! πŸ˜‰

These are the Tortoise Grey Bella Lenses
These are the Weston Plum Tortoise blue lights

4. What I’ve been up to

Driving kids to school, preschool fun, Softball, Softball and more softball. Both Planning for the next few months and attending some of the practices. Running dinners to the fields. Placing sock orders. Washing uniforms.

Busy busy busy. But I wouldn’t have it any other way!!

5. What I’m dreading

I’m super excited for softball games to start, but I dread the first few games sitting out in the still “freezing” cold weather, wind and sometimes rain. Those games are THE WORST!

6. What I’m working on

ME.

For the past 7 months or so I have really put my health and myself on the back burner.

I am so ready for a change and will be spending a lot of my energy trying to get back to where I want to be physically and mentally.

7. What I’m excited about

My kids Spring Break Vacation from school.

Although we don’t have any exciting vacations planned I am so excited to spend some time with them.

We usually take small trips to museums, arcards, movies etc.

I just love that down time with them so much!

8. What I’m watching/Reading

You can check out my January and February book reviews to see some of the things I’ve been reading this year! March review will be up tomorrow!

Right now I’m finishing up Girl, Stop apologizing.

Its been super inspiring for me and I think it will really help me on my journey back to the best version of myself!

I just love a good self help book!

I also just started catching up on the current season of Greys Anatomy.

A guilty Pleasure of mine for sure!

9. What I’m listening to

I found a Disney station on Spotify called “Songs to sing in the car”

Lets just say its been on repeat, and not always when the kids are around.

10. What I’m wearing

Guys I’m boring myself to death in the clothing department.

I definitely have to get better about actually getting myself dressed.

Its just seems so much easier to throw on the Yoga Pants and T-shirts every morning when your running around and down on the floor playing with the kiddos.

I did just find THE MOST comfortable pants from Amazon.

They are called Naked Yoga pants and they truly feel like you aren’t wearing anything. SOOO Comfortable.

I did size up, just since its Amazon and all.

I’m usually a medium in yoga pants and ordered these in a large and they fit perfect.

11. What I’m doing this weekend

We are hoping to make it to the theater to see DUMBO!

But other then that we will be doing softball and finishing our random room makeover!

Also, its going to be 70 here in Delaware! So we will be outside as much as possible for sure!!

12. What I’m looking for next month

Easter. Warmer Weather. And MORE softball!! I just love the hustle and bustle of it all!

12. What else is new

We are finally showing our Den/Great Room, whatever you want to call it, some LOVE!

It all started with a little mantel makeover I wanted to try.

Then we decided to rip down paneling when we realized there is actually drywall underneath!

So the house is a big dusty mess, but I am sooo excited to see what a difference it makes!

This was the mantel makeover before. Its just such a big empty wall and I was hoping to do a little makeover with some peel and stick wallpaper and some cute Easter decorations from the dollar spot at Target.
Then when we decided to trim it out and headed to Lowes for the wood, we got a little carried away and decided while we were at it we would trim out the entire room and do our DIY board and batten project we’ve been dying to do.

I also want to either replace or spray paint the gold fireplace cover with a black one and possibly paint the brick completely white instead of the white wash. Still not sure.
And it really all started with this cute sign I found at Kirklands to hang above the mantel.

13. Favorite Easter Dish

Peeps Dip!

We make this dip Every year!

This year we didn’t have enough chocolate chips on hand so we opted for white chocolate and I think it was just as yummy!

I love a good white chocolate!

So yummy with Graham Cracker but I bet pretzel rods or nilla Wafer would be super good too.

And that is what’s been up with us this month!

As usual time if flying by! And we are doing our best to enjoy and appreciate every minute of it!
