Amazon Lately:Part One

Hey Guys!!

I figured I’d bring you all a little Amazon post on this crazy Thursday Morning.

Its a very strange time we’re living in right now, no one knows what we’ll be waking up to on the news the next day.

I find it best, in times of uncertainty, to just do everything I can not to overthink it all. Overthinking will get us no where. Sometimes in life we really need to just go with the flow, take it a day at a time, and say a little prayer.

I rounded up some of my favorite Amazon buys from that past few months. There’s a lot, so I’m breaking it down into two posts for y’all.

I discovered this facewash from The Sister Studio’s Instagram. It is AMAZING!!! When I stopped breast feeding my son 4 years ago, my face immediately broke out into the worst acne I’ve ever had in my life. Luckily after suffering with that for several months, I changed a few things in my diet and was able to get it under control. But since then I’ve still suffered from some pretty sensitive skin and redness, this has been the only thing that has really helped me!! I LOVE it and with all of the amazing reviews I can ALMOST guarantee that you will love it too!!

I ordered this bathing suit for my daughter for her 13th birthday. I always get nervous about ordering bathing suits online without trying them on. But this one had such a great material and looked so stinking cute on her!! And you really can’t beat the price!

Another Great rec from The Sister Studio was this Palmers coconut scrub! It made my skin feel sooo soft, and smells like heaven!!

These hangers were only $16 for 20 hangers. I thought this was such a great deal, and they made a HUGE difference in the closet. They help save a ton of room and because of the material they are no slip.

My mom called me the other day with a horror story about her eggs that she was boiling! I won’t shout her out and give away all the details but lets just say her house smelled of smoke for almost a full week after she boiled them and she was scrapping eggs off of her walls and all appliances. Soooo I sent her one of these safe and convenient little egg poachers. It hard boils your eggs and has an automatic shut off. Eggs are cooked to perfection and peel super easy!

I LOVE these erasable sharpie marker paint pens. I use them to write on my menu chalkboard I have in teh kitchen. With a little soap and water they wash off so easily! The possibilities are endless! 🙂

One of the things I really wanted to work on while we are stuck in our house during these trying times, was to get my tupperware/kitchen organized a little better!! These meal prep containers are perfect for the obvious meal prep or just to use for leftovers, they stack so easily in the fridge and are microwave and dishwasher safe. You can get 20 for under $17.

I also grabbed a few Plastic bin organizers that are perfect for the fridge or freezer. You can find them here and here.

We are working on finishing up this mudroom. The one that I’ve been talking about for months now. I just have a few more details to add to it before I FINALLY write up a post about it, BUT I found these “WET Erase Markers” that will be perfect for adding things to our normally never ending on the go schedule without worrying about rubbing off the months numbers. (dry erase markers will rub right off, wet erase markers, once dried, need water to wipe clean) Of course, right now we are in a stand still and no busy AT ALL, but I’m very wishfully thinking and hoping that April will bring back all the running around.

I am aboslutely LOVING these air tight containers. They were a bit of a splurge from what I normally spend on tupperware, but I stored all of my fruit in the containers for the week and they stayed soooo fresh!! Way better then keeping the strawberries in the containers they come in. They are also helpful in keeping the fridge looking clean and organized. The sharpie markers I posted above would be perfect to use as labels for them as well.   And I’ll wrap up this post with two awesome kids activities that will be super helpful during this time. My son absolutely LOVES this Brain Games for Kindergarten prep. He really had fun answering the questions which makes learning so much better!

I also grabbed this Boggle Jr. Game for him to work on his spelling to prep for Kindergarten next year. Though he’s got a ways to go, he had so much fun sounding out the letters and matching them up.

So there you have it! Part One of what we’ve been amazon-ing lately. What have you guys been ordering lately?! I’d love to see some of your best Amazon purchases below!

I hope you all are staying safe and healthy!! Just remember we are all in this TOGETHER!! Lay low. Enjoy your family time. And continue to hope and pray for tomorrow!
