Friday Favorites- Birthday Edition

Happy Happy Friday!! The only things better then getting to celebrate another birthday, is celebrating that birthday on a Friday!!

Today, I turn 34!!

For today’s Friday Favorites so I’m linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some of my favorite things.

I’m continuing with the birthday theme of the day and sharing 34 of my favorite things from this year, in no particular order!

ONE

This Romper is just $16.99 and it’s so comfy and fits great! I wore it while driving down to the beach last week and it did not disappoint!

TWO

My initial necklace that I got last week! So pretty and adds that fun pop of color to your look. Also, it’s only $8!

THREE

These snakeskin fur lined sneaks are EVERYTHING! I haven’t been able to wear them much yet because they have a fur lining that is just a bit too hot for this summer heat, but when the air get cooler I’m positive they will be on repeat! They are so soft inside and extremely comfortable! And just $34

FOUR

For Christmas I finally broke down and bought myself the Cricuit Air!! Best purchase I probably ever made!! We have learned quite a bit about it over the past several months and it is so much fun! I would highly recommend investing in one.

FIVE

I grabbed a few fun tye dye options from Amazon earlier last month, you can see the post here.

This shirt was my favorite purchase for sure! The fit, the length, the comfort level, it’s a great shirt! And if you aren’t into tye dye they offer many other color/design options. Just $17.

SIX

Finally jumped on the tinkle razor wagon and I’m loving it!! Its a little face razor that helps get rid of all the peach fuzz and chin whiskers! #gettingreal

Maybe you are one of the lucky ones that wasn’t blessed with facial hair, but I was not. So this had been a game changer for me! it helps makeup go on smoother, make me feel much less self concious that someone is staring at the 8in chin hair that grew out of nowhere, AND its $4.50 for a pack of 6!!

SEVEN

And speaking of razors and REALLY GOOD prices!! Have y’all tried the Billie Razor yet?! It is THE BEST razor you will ever own! I mean I guess not everything works the same for all of us, so maybe it won’t be your fav, but its so worth a try!

The billie razor is a razor subscription that sends you 4 new cartridges delivered right to your doorstep every month, two months or three months, whichever you decide. It really all depends on how often you shave.

The cost for the starter kit is a whopping $9 shipped which will get you the handle, a magnetic holder for the shower and two blades. Then it’ll be $9 every time they send you out the new ones.

Razors have always been that thing that I dreaded buying at the store, I’d be paying at leat $12 for a “decent” razor, that really ended up being complete crap. I will never go back guys! Never.

EIGHT

And staying on course, while we’re on the subject of all this razor business, lets talk razor bumps….

Ugh…they are THE WORST, and I got them bad. Especially under my arms.

I saw Dani Austin mention this on instagram and added it to my cart immeditatly! It definitely took a full month, probably even more to see a difference, but it worked WONDERS guys!! No more razor bumps AT ALL.

They roll on stick that I have is no longer available at the moment, but I found these pads that are the same exact thing. A tiny bit pricy, but so worth it!

NINE

Normally heading into the summer months, I become super self concious. Knowing that i’ll have to be wearing a bathing suit. It’s always been such a devastating time for me. I would sit out from the fun, because I was so insecure.

I promised myself this year, regardless of where I was in my health journey i would be more kind to myself.

Then, Corona happened. And I gained that covid-20. I got so nervous i was going to back out on the deal I made with myself, that I was going to feel overweight and depressed and insecure.

BUT then I went bathing suit shopping at Aerie…

I found some of the best bathing suits there. Unfortunately since the season is turning a corner, only two of them are linkable but guys, remember them for next summer or vacay time because they are amazing!

I got this one in bright green, it is no longer avaiaible but I’d bet its just as good, if not better, in black!

ELEVEN

I know we were all seeing way more grey hairs then normal with the salons being closed in March and April, I had already been using this spray now and then becuae my gray come in with vengenece, but I doubled up on it when I found this two pack for under $20!

You just style your hair, and then spray wherever there are greys. Lots of different hair color tones to choose from.

Twelve

The living proof dry dry shampoo has saved my hair! I never understood how people could go for 3-4-or 5 days without washing their hair!!

But now I’m able to join the day 4 club! 🙂

Thirteen

The texture spray has also been a game changer for me. I have a hard time with volume, and this has worked wonders!! I’m so sad that I can’t currently find an available link for you guys, but I’ll keep you posted. I’m so excited I just found a spare bottle in my closet that I had no idea was there!!

Fourteen

These “flatforms” are so cute and so comfy! They give you a height boost for sure, but you really don’t feel like your wearing platforms.

Fifteen

I found this Target Sports Bra from Sarah over at The Mom in Style on IG. If you don’t already follow her, you totally should!

This bra was so amazing that I grabbed it in a second color after I ordered my first, and honestly, I’ll probably go get it in a third color.

The ONLY downside, is that it does have that dang padding that gets all folded or falls out in the wash. It went through several wash cycles before it started falling out, but it easily goes back in and isn’t really that major of a problem, just a tad annoying.

Sixteen

I am so happy I found these Amazon Yoga Pants! They are high waisted, which is a MUST. And I love that they have this side pocket for my phone. I don’t even remember my phone is there half the time.

They are super comfortable and you can’t see through them at all. Great quality!

I have them in black, but they come in many other colors.

Seventeen

This 30 pack of hangers is just $18.37. We got them this year to start swapping out the cheap plastic ones. I didn’t want to break the bank with nice hangers, but I felt like these were pretty reasonably priced!

Eighteen

Anastasia Brow whiz.

I can’t live without this now. I don’t even really know when my brows took a turn for the worst. I never quite noticed them before, and was always so scared to fill them in. I really wanted to avoid them looking too drawn on.

I can’t remember where I first heard about this brow pencil, but it has changed my life and my confidence tremendously!

I would eventually like to get microblading done, but I’m so nervous about it. So for now, I’m just going to keep on practicing and perfecting with this.

It is $23 but it will last a good 4 months or more!

Nineteen

I got these farmhouse hooks from Amazon, for my mudroom makeover that you can find here

We got a 10 pack for $12 so we ended up hanging several of them by the pool too for towels. Love the look and the quality is great for the price.

Twenty

I love these meal prep containers. We reuse them for a several months. They are great in the microwave and dishwasher, but after a while they do start to seem worn out.

But at just $16.99 for $20 I don’t mind throwing them out and replacing them every few months.

TWENTY-ONE

Have you guys gotten on the Blue light glasses trend yet?! I LOVE them!

It’s so funny to me that 27 years ago when I first got glasses, I used to purpostly leave them on the bus because I was so embarassed to have to wear them!

Now, I’m looking for an excuse to wear these cute glasses!

Also, I definitely think they help tremendously when working on the computer and phone all day.

TWENTY-TWO

I got this AMAZING area rug last year I believe for my Den area and it’s got to be my most favorite carpet in the house.

I found it on the Classy Clutter website. Those girls seriously know what they are doing when it comes to home decor.

I’ve always been a little afraid to go bold, or have pink of any kind in a carpet.

This is one that I probably never would have picked out on my own, but I decided to go for it and I love it!

TWENTY-THREE

Okay, this babydoll dress has quickly become a favorite of mine!! Even after putting on a little extra LBS this year, this little dress fits so comfortably.

It’s a tiny bit short on me, so I definitely have to throw on some biker shorts with it, but it’s not offensive at all.

It comes in a couple colors, it’s only around $15 and it is super cute. Could be dressed up or down.

TWENTY-FOUR

When we first bought our house a couple of years ago, I wasn’t entirely offended by the floor in the mudroom. But as we moved in and were living there every day, I kept thinking to myself….what they heck were these people thinking when they picked this out?!

It was not cute y’all…

We didn’t really have a ton of money in the budget to get all new flooring, so I figured I’d try out these floor pop tile’s. They are super easy to use. You just peel off the backing paper and lay them directly onto your existing floor.

Holy cow! What a difference.

I want to redo both upstairs bathrooms with is as well now!

TWENTY-FIVE

I am hooked on Rustoleum Chalk paint.

I’ve painted several dressers and chairs with it. Even used it on a wall at the old house. But this year I used it on fabric cushions for a thrift store patio couch we got.

I saw this Willie Nelson Shirt a while back and knew I had to have it!

The fourth of July was the perfect time for that. I just think this shirt is so darn cute!

I mean who does love Willie?!

TWENTY-SEVEN

These shorts are my definitely my favorite jean shorts of the summer! They are High waisted which again, is a must for this momma!

They are cute and stylish while still offering comfort.

AND the best part, they are a little longer in the back so they cover up where I need them to cover up. 😉

TWENTY-EIGHT

I love this walmart jacket so much!

Its light weight material, but still warm enough to wear into the transition of fall/winter.

When I bought it, it was only $20, now its only $10!!

They are running super low online, but I would defintely reccomend checking out your store. Its a really good one!!

TWENTY-NINE

I’ve heard that these amazon no show socks were great, so I finally caved a couple weeks ago and bought this 6pack.

All of the review were on point!

They are great. They don’t slide or budge AT ALL. You can barely tell you are wearing socks.

Super comfortable. And as my teenager would say I “10 out of 10 recommend”

THIRTY

LOVE these mellanni bed sheets.

Affodable sheets that feel like they cost a pretty penny!

I bought them for our master bedroom, and was worried they wouldn’t fit our mattress because we have one of those thick memory foam ones. But it fit great. Feels so super soft and comfy, and I will 100% be purchasing more to go on the rest of the beds in the house.

THIRTY-ONE

Love these basic black Sunglasses.

I am a big sunglass wearer. I literally can not open my eyes without sunglasses outside, even when its overcast.

So they are a huge fashion staple for me.

This is one of my favorites from Amazon. Another great bang for your buck.

THIRTY-TWO

I actually got this Naipo Neck and back massager for Mike last Christmas.

It is so good!!

It give a great massage and you are able to easily maneuver it yourself to all those problem areas that really need to be worked out.

THIRTY-THREE

Verity.

Wow guys. This was an intense book.

There is a little bit of controversary about this one.

You’ll either love it or you’ll hate it.

I loved it! It was literally jaw dropping for me. I read it in one day. And I lost sleep for several….It’s just so good!

THIRTY-FOUR

This garment steamer is so nice!! I love that I don’t have to worry about bringing an iron with me every time we head to the beach or off to the hotels for Softball Tournaments.

This is so easy to use and takes the wrinkles out in seconds! Definitely one of my favorite purchases of the year!
