Happy Friday!
If you follow me in IG, you already know about my massive pumpkin haul from Trader Joes.
The Tj’s closest to me in about 30 minutes away, which I totally don’t mind, but for some reason I still never really venture out that way. So when I do I make sure its a good one.
Of course we had to try out all things Pumpkin.
By the end of the day yesterday we were all pumpkin drunk from trying so many things!
We walked out of there with:
PUMPKIN ICE CREAM:
Cole and I LOVE this ice cream. It tastes just like pumpkin pie but in ice cream form. I think its super light but still offers just enough pumpkin, and I would definitely recommend it! 🙂
PUMPKIN GRAONLA BARK:
I thought this was so so good!! It’s got granola, and pumpkin spices, chocolate and pumpkin seeds. It has a perfect combo of sweet and salty, and I loved it! And lucky for me, I was the only one. Not sure why though, it’s so so good. I would highly recommend it.
PUMPKIN BREAD:
This pumpkin/muffin bread comes in a box and you just add eggs oil and water. I baked it in a loaf pan but you could also make muffins with it. It came out so moist and yummy! I would say this is another great one to try!
PUMPKIN BUTTER:
I thought this would be perfect to spread on the bread. But I honestly was not a fan. Sophia described it as tasting like baby food and I think she may have a point. haha I mean, I didn’t think it was awful, but it just wasn’t what I was thinking it would be.
PUMPKIN DANISH:
This danish was the last thing I grabbed before hopping in line to check out, and oh my goodness I am so glad I did. I threw it on our pizza stone and warmed it for about 10 minutes, it was fantastic!
PUMPKIN CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE MIX:
The cashier said these are one of their biggest hits in the Fall, and they have really good reason to be! They are so yummy! They are basically homemade without having to do all the work. They come in an oatmeal like canister and you just add one stick of softened butter, water and an egg. So so good!
PUMPKIN O’S:
I guess these are basically like cheerios but pumpkin flavor. I think the flavor was pretty good but the texture was so different from Cheerios that it was just weird for me. My daughter seemed to enjoy them, but said the same thing about the texture being different.
PUMPKIN SMOOTHIE:
Sophia grabbed this out of pure curiousty. The verdict though, She doesn’t like it at all. I actually don’t think its too bad. I don’t think I’d be able to drink the entire thing in one sitting, but it was pretty tasty.
PUMPKIN WAFFLES:
We grabbed a box of frozen pumpkin waffles, they were only $2.99. So easy to just pop in the toaster for a perfect Fall breakfast. I didn’t think they had much pumpkin flavor, but they were good.
and last…
PUMPKIN BUNS:
Kind of like a Cinnabon but made with pumpkin, and instead of a cream cheese glaze there is a pumpkin spice glaze. These were super yummy too.
So overall, our haul was pretty good! I think the only thing we all agreed wasn’t that great was the Pumpkin butter, but there are lots of other ways to use it so maybe we’ll try it out a few more ways.
Do you all have any pumpkin favorites from Trader Joe’s?! Drop your recommendation’s below!
We did get a lot of non pumpkin items as well that I’ll be post about later this week and let you know what I would recommend!
I hope you all have an amazing Monday!
