What’s with all the crops!?!

Good Morning!! I hope everyone had the best weekend!! It flew by!! We had an overnight tournament for the girls on Friday night, meaning none of us slept at all until mid day Saturday. It was exhausting but I fun experience! πŸ™‚

My weekly recap is going to be pretty short and sweet this week! I did a fun Walmart Try on this past week, and y’all….What is with all the crops?!

I just want the bottom half of my shirts back!

Are you a crop fan?

The weeks Best Sellers:

#5: This YETI mug is officially out of stock until March. So many of you grabbed this mug this week when it was on sale for just $18! They do have a few other colors available but they are being sold for around $22.

#4 How stinkin cute are these tie dye joggers?! I’ve heard a few people saying they’re over the Tie-Dye trend, but I’m still here for it! Give me all the tie dye everything! These joggers are mid rise, tapered at the ankle and just $32. For me, that a tad steep in price so I’ll be keeping an eye out for any sales on them!

#3 These high waisted yoga pants were another big hit this past week. I love a good yoga pant with the side pocket. So comfortable and convenient. When I posted these they were on lightning for just $13, the price has gone back up but there is currently a $4 off clickable coupon at checkout making them just $15! Still a great price!

#2 My favorite fedora hat was a big hit this week! How many of you are loving this trend? Another one I’ve heard a few people mention they’re over, But y’all, I’ve loved hats since I was little and you just aren’t taking that away from me! Also, when the greys are coming in way faster then you can keep up with them, hats a MUST have! πŸ˜‰

#1 And finally, these snake print boots are so cute! They are on sale for $39.98, last week when I posted them there was an additional coupon, that has since expired but $40 for Steve Madden booties is still a great deal! So many of you grabbed these this week! I’d love a tag on social media when you get them so I know who’s loving the things I’m sharing!! πŸ™‚

Weekly Posts:

I did not post much this week, we had a couple snow days and the kids were back to online only for the week so it was a bit chaotic, but we made it work. Just going with the flow as best we can. πŸ™‚

There’s still time to grab these fun tops before Valentines Day! I LOVE my heart sweater so much, and Cole’s shirt is just the cutest!

My wannabe Wednesday was super fun this week, because I duplicated a look with one of my all time favorite sweaters of the season! I have this one in 3 colors and right now they are between $9.88 and $14.88. Such amazing quality, so flattering and super comfortable! Most colors are only available for in store purchase so make sure to check your local Walmarts!

This Cardigan that I got from Walmart is Ahhhmazing! The picture just doesn’t do it justice. Its so pretty and just $16! I think its so versatile, and will most likely be wearing it through the next two seasons! Perfect for Spring with a pair of shorts and even summer as a bathing suit cover up! LOVE it!

Walmart Try-On

Walmart has really become my go to! You just can’t beat the prices and the styles and quality have improved tremendously over the years! I did a little walmart haul and tried a few things on in my stories on IG! If you’re not already following me you can do so here @Leighbroadfield03,I save all of my try ons in my story highlights.

I bring to you crop top #1….I loved everything about this top except for the fact that it’s cropped. It ending up working out okay with my highwaisted jeans, but I just don’t understand the trend here. This top is $24 from the scoop brand. They also have matching shorts for $18.

Crop top #2 I liked a little bit better, first of all it gave me all the Spring vibes with it’s bright yellow hues! I just love the details in the sleeves and the subtle Tie-dye, but I’m still so unsure about the length. The top is $24 from the Scoop brand.

I LOVE this $14 dress so much!! It comes is 8 colors, its so comfortable and super flattering. I was so pleasantly surprised with this one and wouldn’t mind having one in every color! I don’t normally choose this length dress because I don’t have super long legs so I don’t feel like it usually works well with my height, but I am really loving this one!

This tie front T-shirt dress is a must have! Its $28 and super soft and comfortable, it could be dressed up or down! I paired it with wedges and my favorite hat and then switched it up for a baseball cap and sneakers! Loved it both ways!

This top is incredible!! It has a fun little puff shoulder and ruching down the sleeve. I love the the peplum fit and the soft silk material. It’s $26, another one that is part of the Scoop brand and I would highly recommend it!

Outfit Inspo:

This week I started to share a little outfit inspo with some fun collages that I made. I just love putting fun affordable outfits together! I’m hoping to incorporate this into my daily shares!

Family/Life updates:

Our week started off with a snow day, which was so fun for the kids! Even with schools having the online resources they do right now, they still made the decision to give them a snow day on Monday so they could get out and enjoy the little things in life. I was so happy they made that decision.

We ate lots of comfort food, did lots of sledding, had a few snow ball fights and nerf battles in the snow, went sledding, and just over all enjoyed our family time.

Mike received an big award at work! He should have been standing on stage in Vegas to receive it but the pandemic had other plans. Regardless we couldn’t be more proud of him and all he does.

The girls had an overnight softball tournament where they finished second in their bracket and 4th overall! They played all through the night and were extremely delirious and sleep deprived by the end, but they had a great time!

And I have finally reached 6K on my IG, my first big goal is to hit 10K but I want to celebrate it all!! I’ve also received my first official paycheck and just want to end this post by thanking you all from the very bottom of my heart!! This path is a long one, and the highway is crowded. There are so many other wonderful women out there doing this already which can be very intimidating. But I am learning every day to just be my true authentic self, live outside of that comfort zone and know that no dream is too big. I hope you all can have the same mindset through your journeys and know that you are all capable of whatever it is you put your mind to!!

Have a wonderful week!!!
