35 by 35-9 Day Cleanse

Good Morning good morning!!! It is another beautiful day and this mama is ready to FINALLY kickstart her weight loss goals of losing 35lbs by her 35th birthday!

I was honestly planning on starting this in January, but in true Kerri fashion I chose candy and cake instead.

And now, here we are in April, with my August birthday quickly approaching. So it is TIME!! πŸ™‚

I’m going to jump into my goals with a 9 day cleanse.

The word “CLEANSE” can often scare people off, but this one is acutally not to bad at all!

It is known to get you amazing results, both in weight loss and energy levels!

I have used this system before but have never completed the full 9 day cleanse so I’m very excited to get started and hope to get myself back on the journey to fit.

Okay, so here’s how it works! πŸ™‚

It’s considered a 9 day cleanse but if you want to see maximum results it’s really 11 days. The first two days are supposed to be spent prepping your body with healthy foods so your first two cleanse days are more successful.

Basically your going to have what are called “shake” days and “cleanse” days on and off throughout the next 11 days.

Your two Pre cleanse days will consist of two shakes as meal replacements, 2-3 100-200 calorie snacks, and one full meal ranging from 400-600 calories. I’m personaly going to do this on kind of an intermittant fasting schedule, since I don’t even tend to want to eat anything until around 11. But this is typically set up starting around 7 or 8 am.

So for my specific plan this is EXACTLY what I’ll be eating for the next 11 days:

TWO PREP DAYS { April 12 &13}

Wake up and drink 1-2 glasses of water before starting. I like to use this water bottle to keep track, though I usually try to double it for the day. {TIP: it is actually recommended that you drink your body weight in oz of water daily. So if you weigh 140lbs you would want to drink 70 oz of water daily. More if you are doing high intensity workouts.

Coffee is okay, preferably black but if you absolutely need something in your coffee, try the sugar free creamers, or a plant based milk.

Prep Days: APRIL 12th & 13TH {M&TU}

I’m just panning on eating the same exact things on the first two prep days, just to make life a little easier.

  • 11am: Birthday cake shake + Natural Accelerator
  • 1pm: two rice cakes + 1 TB banana almond butter
  • 3pm: Cookies and Cream Shake + Natural Accelerator
  • 5pm: 1 egg + 3 egg whites with salsa
  • 6:30 pm: Honey Sriracha Chicken with jasmine rice and broccoli
  • 7:30 pm: (Final snack, only if needed) 1 container of OIKOS triple ZERO yogurt with 1.5 TB powered peanut butter

DAY ONE & TWO {Cleanse Days} – For cleanse days I will start earlier since it requires so much juice and I don’t want to be drinking that too late at night. Coffee must be black on cleanse days! On cleanse days you can also have certain Cleanse day approved “snacks”, one of which is the yummiest little chocolate square. I love the salted Caramel one. You can also have little wafer like snacks but I don’t care for them. They’re super chalky like so I usually just skip that part, but if I’m feeling really hungry I’ll go for it.

Day 1 & 2: APRIL 14th & 15th {W&TH}

  • 8am 2 level scoops of cleanse powder with 8 oz of water + Natural Accelerator { I like to fill my glass full with ice, add the water and then the powder. I use the Peach Mango powder and it tasted like I’m sipping a drink on an island somewhere. πŸ˜‰
  • 9am chocolate square
  • 10am 2 snack wafer (if wanted)
  • 11am 2 level scoops of cleanse plus 8 oz water + Natural Accelerator
  • 12pm Chocolate Square
  • 1pm 2 snack wafers (if wanted)
  • 2pm 2 level scoops of cleanse plus 8 oz water
  • 3pm Chocolate square
  • 4pm 2 snack wafers
  • 5pm 2 level scoops of cleanse plus 8 oz water
  • 6pm Chocolate square only if needed

DAY THREE – SEVEN- The next 5 days will be shake days. I’m going to mix it up a little with a few different meal and snack ideas so I don’t get bored. Also, my nieces birthday party is on Saturday, so instead of setting myself up for failure I’m going to replace my dinner with a shake. That way I can just bring that with me when I’m heading to the party and drink it ahead of time so I’ll be nice and full when I’m there.

Day 3: APRIL 16TH {Friday}

  • 11am: Strawberry shake + Natural Accelerator
  • 1pm: VERB Energy Bar
  • 3pm: Vanilla Shake with Powdered Peanut Butter+ Natural Accelerator
  • 5pm: Deli Turkey w/ carrots and 1 T Hummus
  • 6:30 pm: Blackened Shrimp with Zucchini, 1/2 avocado & Tomatoes over Romaine with a little Cilantro Avocado Yogurt dressing
  • 7:30 pm: (Final snack, only if needed) apple with Almond butter

Day 4: APRIL 17TH {Saturday}

  • 11am: sweet potato hash with over easy egg + Natural Accelerator
  • 1pm: 1/4 Cup mixed nuts
  • 3pm: Cookies and Cream Shake + Natural Accelerator
  • 5:30: Birthday Cake Shake
  • 7pm: OIKOS triple ZERO with powdered Peanut butter

Day 5: APRIL 18TH {Sunday}

  • 11am: Strawberry shake + Natural Accelerator
  • 1pm: VERB Energy Bar
  • 3pm: Vanilla Shake with Powdered Peanut Butter+ Natural Accelerator
  • 5pm: Deli Turkey w/ carrots and 1 T Hummus
  • 6:30 pm: Blackened Shrimp with Zuchinni, 1/2 avocado & Tomatoes over Ramaine with a little Cilantro Avocado Yogurt dressing
  • 7:30 pm: (Final snack, only if needed) apple with Almond butter

Day 6: APRIL 19TH {Monday}

  • 11am: Cookies and Cream Shake + Natural Accelerator
  • 1pm: Apple with Almond butter
  • 3pm: Vanilla Shake with Powdered Peanut Butter+ Natural Accelerator
  • 5pm: Tuna packet
  • 6:30 pm: Chicken Fajita bowl with Quinoa
  • 7:30 pm: (Final snack, only if needed) OIKOS triple ZERO

DAY 7: APRIL 20th {Tuesday}

  • 11am: Cookies and Cream Shake + Natural Accelerator
  • 1pm: Apple with Almond butter
  • 3pm: Vanilla Shake with Powdered Peanut Butter+ Natural Accelerator
  • 5pm: Tuna packet
  • 6:30 pm: Chicken Fajita bowl with Quinoa
  • 7:30 pm: (Final snack, only if needed) OIKOS triple ZERO

DAY EIGHT & NINE- The final two days you will follow the exact same schedule that you did on days 1-2

Make sure to take measurments!! Although we sometimes really want to see the # drop on the scale, it is not nearly as important as the inches that we could lose through all of this!!

I would also suggest super light exercise on cleanse days. Just yoga & Stretching,maybe a quick stroll around the neighborhood. Then regular workouts are good for your shake days. I’ll be doing a combination of HIIT and weights.

  1. One canister of shake of choice { One canister is equivalent to 14 meals}
  2. One canister of the cleanse for life powder or you can buy it in liquid form as well. I prefer the powder.
  3. One box of isadelights
  4. One bottle of Natural Accelerator pills {These are basically like apple cider vinegar in pill form. A great way to increase energy levels, curb your appetite and speed your metabolism}
  5. Isa Snacks if desired

In the past I have had AMAZING results with this program. I have never completed the 9 day cleanse but have just done the shake meal replacement schedule for a consistant 30 days and I was floored with my inches lost, pounds lost and energy gained! It was truly a life saver for me, so I’m super excited to give it another go with the 9 day cleanse kick start! πŸ™‚
