Good Morning!!
So I decided yesterday that I wanted to start a new series called Target Thursday! I’ve seen many other bloggers do this, either on a Tuesday or Thursday, and being that Target is one of my absolute favorite places to shop I thought this would be a fun thing for me to add to mine.
I had a few things to return to the store last night so it was the perfect time to head over and shop around a bit.
My two girls came with me and asked if they could walk over to aero in the mall while I shopped at target so I told them that was fine, and to just meet me back in Target when they were done.
Well guys….while they were in Aero and I was in Target a HUGE storm rolled through and knocked out the power! It was PITCH BLACK, I couldn’t see my hand in front of my face…it was so scary!
Luckily it popped back on very quickly and I was able to get ahold of the girls, my phone was on 1% (which btw was a huge blogger fail on my part, I wanted so badly to take pictures!) and the power kept knocking out and coming back on.
A few minutes went by when I looked down at my dying phone and saw my Cece had text me saying that they were locked out from the mall entrance into target due to Target being at Max Capacity, and as I was texting them to just meet me at the front entrance my phone died.
Anyway, long story short, they figured it all out and found me in Target but my momma heart was struggling. I forget sometimes that they are turning into perfectly independent capable young adults.
And after all of that I am still here to bring you my very first Target Thursday!!

Okay, so first, target knows what they’re doing by putting the bathing suits at the entrance of the store. I can’t help but check them out every time we’re there. I found the cutest suit while we were there yesterday.
My thirteen year old is swimsuit obsessed this summer, so she also managed to find another good one for the beach. It is so cute, such a great material and only around $14 for each piece.
My girls were both in need of sports bra’s so they chose this one High support for $24
and this low support for $20
It’s not a trip to target without a new graphic Tee! I grabbed this one from the mens section and just sized down one, love it and its just $12.99!
I was browsing the game aisle and found this fun little classic and had to bring it home to show Cole. He played with it for an hour last night, it had us all cracking up!
I also picked up this card game for us to try out at the beach, the description on the back of the box got me, something about reading each others minds and “while the rules are simple, surviving every level is anything but…” I’ll update you on our thoughts after we play! 🙂
I also grabbed a one thousand piece puzzle to work on while we’re at the beach house. We have a two thousand piece on our bucket list but they just didn’t have any good ones that didn’t cost a fortune.
And then finally, when we were heading out I popped down the water bottle aisle for some new stainless steel straws. I love the one with the silicone tops, sipping on a stainless steel straw is just not my favorite. 😉
This 4 pack is under $8.
And that wraps it up for this week! Also, I probably won’t be back with my second Target Thursday until August since we’ll be beaching and balling all next week!
I hope you all have a fantastic Thursday!! We are almost to the weekend guys!!
