Happy Friday!! This week flew by!
My mom always told me that she felt like the older you get the faster time goes by, and I’m beginning to really agree with her.
We’ve also been super busy over here, so that definitely makes time fly by too.
I am so happy its Friday though, and very much looking forward to my girls winter vacation to start! T-minus 9 car rides and they are home free for 2 weeks!
Anyway, today I’m starting my new series of “Friday Favorites!” I know a lot of other bloggers that write posts like this and I absolutely love checking out some of the products that they share.
Hope you all enjoy!
ONE
This amazing cordless portable carpet cleaner!!
I actual bought this to try out on our fabric covered dining room chairs. Unfortunately the fabric was not meant for that kind of cleaner, and it really didn’t do too well. BUT… when my daughter ended up getting sick all over the upstairs carpet I was so happy that I had this guy handy! It worked wonders!!!
We had all hardwoods at the old house, so if there was every a major stain on the area rugs we had, I would just toss them and buy new. So when my girl got sick on the wall to wall carpet I kind of panicked, until I remembered my recent purchase!! So so happy that I had that.
I’ve also used it for spilled coffee and chocolate on our beige carpets and all stains came out no problem!! Definitely recommend this product!
TWO
My Go to Brow pencil!
For years, I never did anything to my brows. Even with a full face of makeup, you just got the all natural look from my brows. I never understood why people would draw their brows on. Mine were always pencil thin. Then the new brow phase started and I just decided to give it a try and see what all the fuss was about, and although I still haven’t perfected it, I can’t stand my eyebrows without filling them in a little now! I tried a few different brands before stumbling upon this one, and I am hooked for life! You can’t even tell you have anything on, they look so natural. Love it!
THREE
My goal for the New Year was to read more. And I started off great. I’m pretty sure I read like 8 books in the first two months. And then it slowly phased out and I stopped making time for it. I read maybe one or two over the summer. So when I saw a review on this book last month I decided to go for it. And It was amazing!
Its an amazing love story about a couple who struggles with infertility. And though I personally will never know that pain, it was a great eye opener into the lives of couples who do. Life challenges can really rock a marriage, especially ones as painful as infertility.
I would highly recommend it.
FOUR
I tend to have such oily hair! No matter how well I wash it, it seems to be oily and flat by the end of the day. But this Dry Shampoo truly works wonders and gives me volume for days!
My only complaint about this dry shampoo is that it doesn’t have the brown tint that I need since I did not hit the genetic lottery when it came to skipping the grays!
FIVE
If you saw my last post you know how much we LOVE Christmas. One of my favorite things to do in our Christmas countdown activity is cookie baking. Because if you know me, you know I’m a huge foodie! So on cookie day we tried out 7 different recipes. This lemon curd cookie was hands down my favorite! I already shared it in my last post, but I do believe it was good enough to share twice!
SIX
I am IN LOVE with this scent from Bath and Body Works! I haven’t even lit it yet, just took the top off and instantly made my house smell like heaven!
I ordered a ton of candles online when they were having their big 3 wick candle sale, most of the scents I had never smelled before so I was a little nervous about placing the order online and I did not want to deal with the massive crowds in the store. But I am so so happy with this one! And though its technically a holiday scent I would probably light this baby year round!
Well there you have it! Some of my favorite finds! I’m so happy you stopped by and hope you have an AMAZING weekend!! I’m really looking forward to our Gingerbread house party tomorrow! Can’t wait to share pics and details with you guys!
