Friday Favorites (Fit & Healthy)

Since I am really lacking in the fitness and Health department at the moment I figured I’d write a Friday Favorites Fitness and Health edition!

Not only am I hoping to help all of you find some great fitness inspiration, but I’m hoping I will be able to re-inspire myself to get going again!

ONE:

I’m pretty sure I’ve already shared this on one of my previous Friday Favorites posts, but they are so good I will share them again.

Nothing helps with a good workout like an amazing pair of sneakers.

I feel like I’m walking on clouds in these shoes guys!

Which I guess is a good sign since they are called Cloudfoam sneakers.

And they are super casual and cute to wear around when you aren’t even working out.

You know when your walking through target in gym clothes trying to make every think you are a fit a put together momma….

TUESDAY:

These pants aren’t the exact ones I have, I can’t seem to find them available anymore.

But they are very very similar to the ones I have and love to wear!

They are the most comfortable workout pants I have EVER worn.

I love the mesh sides because they really help to keep you cool through your workouts.

THREE:

These shakes were absolutely life changing for me.

They could not have come at a better time in my life.

I was reaching my all time high in weight and feeling so horrible about myself.

I had no energy during the days and just found myself binge eating alllll the time.

When I made the decision to give them a try I was so skeptical.

I mean who wants to drink shakes for meals twice a day right?! I like to chew my food.

But I went for it, and it turns out you still get to eat soo much!

My perfect Isagenix schedule looks something like this

  • 6am Ionix Supreme (instead of coffee) I know sounds crazy but it made such a difference, trust me!
  • 7am Strawberry Shake and 1 accelerator (all natural metabolism booster)
  • 9/10am Almonds and cheese stick or popcorn or grapes and cheese or side salad or chicken salad and crackers (the possibilities are endless)
  • 1pm Vanilla shake and another accelerator
  • 4pm Apple and Peanut Butter
  • 6pm Dinner with the family. Whatever it may be. I would just try to have high carbs or any kind of fried foods. Lots of proteins, grains and unlimited salad/ veggies.
  • 8pm (most nights I didn’t need another snack, but now is the time to grab one if you feel like you want it. Anything listed above. Or you do frozen yougurt or something like that to curb that sweet tooth.)

I really never feel like I’m depriving myself of anything. And if I want pizza one night I eat pizza. If I want my burger on a bun, I eat my burger on a bun. I just feel so much better when I incorporate these shakes into my daily routine. My energy levels are through the roof! I lost 35lbs on these shakes with ZERO workouts!

FOUR:

And although I stand by the nutrition found in those shakes, I did like the option that beachbody on demand offers for their at home workouts.

I decided to subscribe through a friend, and though I don’t use them nearly as much as I should, I LOVE that I have them available at my leisure.

Any time of day.

Any room of the house.

Or in the Spring/Summer outside is the place to be!

So many workout to choose from.

And they are at a very reasonable price!

FIVE

I LOVE my Yeti.

It keeps my Ice water, ICE. COLD. allll day long!

Nothing I hate more then room temperature water, especially during an exhausting workout.

SIX:

And to make drinking your water even easier, I got this this and straw for the Yeti.

I love having that option available.

Here’s a YETI brand two pack OR you can also use this much cheaper non name brand that will work just as well!

SEVEN:

AND AND… I also bought this to add to my YETI to make it easy to grab.

There’s nothing worse then dropping your water bottle while in the middle of a kick ass incline on the elliptical!

EIGHT:

I actually Hate wearing socks.

But I hate Smelly shoes even more, so I found these Puma socks on Amazon a few months back and I LOVE them.

They are somewhat thick but don’t feel like they are at all. And they don’t look stupid sticking out of your shoe .

Anyone else hate that look? I love the no show sock look but those socks ALWAYS slide down the back and feel so uncomfortable.

And it always happens at the worst time.

But these puma socks have been a life saver for workouts or just every day wear.

NINE:

Another thing that I don’t LOVE to wear, if a sports bra.

BUT this Under Armour one I found is so comfortable, you ALMOST don’t even know you are wearing one.

And it offers so much support through those HIIT workouts from BOD.

That just about wraps it up for my Workout Favorites.

I stay pretty basic when it comes to working out and being healthy.

Simple nutrition, simple workouts, and simple gear.

I am so ready to get summer ready and back at it now that I wrote this!

ha….if only it was that easy.

But in all seriousness, I really do feel sooo much better about life in general when I’m taking care of myself and my body.
