Happy Thursday!!
I am usually on the “where in the world did the time go?” train. But this week, so some reason, IS DRAGGING.
I’m not sure what is it, but this girl is just ready for Friday to get here.
I think it might have sometime to do with the fact that I actually went out last weekend.
Like went out. With my hubby and some friends. WITH NO KIDS.
Yeah, this momma is not used to that, so I’m pretty sure ( 5 days later), I’m still catching up.
I had a blast though! Anyone else ever done the Axe throwing craze?!
Just thought I’d pop on today though, and share some of my newest Amazon Prime buys and a few things I have waiting in my cart, still trying to talk myself into trying.
- Rust-Oleum High Heat Ultra Spray Paint
My fireplace was one of the things I was most excited about when we moved into the new house. Although its super outdated. So I’ve done a few things to try and spruce it up over the last year but it still just wasn’t working for me. So I just recently ordered this spray paint to give the ugly old gold cover a little makeover. I am LOVING it and can not wait to share.
For all of you Pool owners!! This summer has definitely been a summer of learning about all things pool. I heard pool owndership was a tough job, and I was ready for it, but man am I also very ready to put that cover on this month! 😉
At the beginning of the season I was buying our pool chemicals from K-Mart and spending $28 for a 6 pack of shock. Then I stumbled upon this off brand pack on Amazon for only $16.99 for a 6 pack and decided to try it out. And it worked just as good!
My girls have been wanting to pack a hot lunch for school for so long now. I finally ordered them both one of these and we are testing it out today!
I’ve heard that if you add boiling water to the thermos for a little while before adding the food that it will help to keep the food hot.
I’ll get back and give you an update on how it worked out!
This morning they both packed Leftover Fried Rice and Pineapple Chicken from last nights dinner.
I ordered these small floating shelves for our Powder room refresh. I was worried they would be too small and even more worried when they came and they looked even smaller then I thought.
BUT…They ended up really working out perfect for what I had in mind.
I recently purchased this fun little devotional after hearing some great reviews on it.
Being Brave and taking risks is something I’ve always struggled with. I’m getting better every day but I thought this would be a great reminder and help push me to continue fighting for what I believe in and working hard towards what I want.
I used this fun little candle as the cake topper to a smash cake I made for my cousins daughter a few weeks ago!
It turned out so cute!
7. Lunch bag
I ordered Cecilia a new lunch bag right before school started and literally just searched for the cheapest one that looked like it would carry a decent amount.
This one is perfect!
Its not too big, not too small and you can carry it with the small handle or over your shoulder like a bag. Its got pretty decent insulation and doesn’t feel cheap at all.
I also bought her this Dry Erase Board for her room. It’s HUGE!
I’m thinking I might be buying another one of these for when we get our command Center/Mudroom refreshed.
9. Headbands
Got the cutest 5 pack of headbands for only $7.99.
I wear them all the time around the house. They do slip a tiny bit here and there but for the most part they stay in pretty good!
10. BackPack Cooler
I’m loving this Backpack Cooler I got for Softball Tournaments!
I use it on my days when I go into work to pack lunch for me and the kids.
During the summer months when I used it there was no leaking issues and it kept everything pretty cool.
Ice will melt fairly quickly but still stays cold.
Its super convenient though and really freed up my hands for the millions of others things we have to bring with us to tournaments!
